Meet Adinah

IMG_2342.jpg

Hi! My name is Adinah and I live in  Los Angeles. My 18th birthday is on November 6th, so you can imagine, with the election being on November 3rd, I feel pretty powerless at the moment. However, I have been dedicating my free time to text banking, making phone calls, and convincing my friends to vote for Joe! As a queer, Jewish, young woman in America this election is going to impact my entire life, and all of our futures. Our current administration is trying to take away our basic human rights, and I am going to do everything in my power to stop them! But like I said, we need your help. We, Teens for Joe, need you - the American voters - to help determine our future and restore integrity to our democracy.

Meet Carly

Hi, I’m Carly! I’m from Colorado, and over the past four years, I have watched the world around me become more and more racist, anti-semitic, and violent. Since I cannot vote for a few more years, I never felt that I could do much to change the things in my community that need fixing. The Teens For Joe movement has given me a way to use my voice to change the world around me. Issues that are important to me include racial justice, taking action against climate change, safe abortion options, and creating a safe and loving community for individuals that are LGBTQ+. So I am asking you to please vote with some compassion for others and vote for Joe Biden. My fate is now in your hands. Vote for OUR future as well as your own.

Meet Elle

Hi, I’m Elle and I am from Philadelphia. My parents have taught me about the importance of voting since I was little, so it kills me that I am not able to vote in this election. Over the last four years I have become increasingly scared with the world I see around me, both in the U.S. and abroad. I know that this election will not only impact my entire life, but the lives of countless other people. I cannot sit idly by while White supremacists are emboldened, people of color are increasingly disenfranchised, the rights of LGBTQ+ community are under attack, and the future of womens’ rights hang in a balance. It is time for something to change, and it all starts with getting Joe Biden elected. But I can’t vote yet, so I am encouraging those who can to vote for Joe and Kamala and ensure that we all have basic human rights in the years to come.

Meet Miri

Hi! My name is Miri. I am 16 years old, so I am definitely not old enough to vote in this election, but that does not it does not matter to me. As a young Jewish woman, this election is going to impact me for the rest of my life and all of our futures. This summer, the day after my birthday, I registered to vote. I have been spending some free time trying to educate people and posting about the election. And I have been bothering my family to make sure they vote. I am and I will continue to do everything I can to stop the current administration from trying to take away so many people’s basic human rights. But I cannot do it alone. We need your help! We, Teens for Joe, need you… we are counting on you. So use YOUR vote to help save OUR future!

Meet Noa

Hi! My name is Noa I’m 16 years old and I live in Denver, Colorado. Since I am not able to vote yet, I have felt pretty powerless in the midst of this critical election. Whatever happens in this election, it is going to largely effect my friends and me — as well as all young people in America. I am a young Jewish woman and I care about women being able to choose what to do with their bodies, racial justice, equality for the LGBTQ+ community, our environment, affordable and universal healthcare, and so much more. We as teens need to use our voices in order to make sure Joe Biden is elected this November. Join us!
